Highlands varsity girls basketball team loses in Hayesville

Highlands varsity girls volleyball team made the trek to Hayesville on Wednesday but couldn’t come home with the win losing 54-34.

The team out energized and spirits seemed high, but simple errors in the fundamentals kept Highlands from putting up enough points for the win. Highlands Kedra McCall put 13 points on the board and Jordan Carrier and Chela Green each scored 5.

Highlands next plays Franklin at home at 6 p.m. today (Nov. 30).
