Highlands Destin Gearhart falls for a pump-fake against East Henderson on Monday. Highlands lost 62-49. Editor’s Note: Yes, Gearhart fell for the fake, but had the East Henderson player opted to shoot the ball, please appreciate Gearhart’s vertical leap in the hopes of making the block.

“Varsity boys did some things well and it got us leads or back in the game but when we made mistakes that caused us to beat ourselves,” said Lamb. “We did enough to win the ball game but tried to force shots or passes that weren’t there and missed too many free throws. We will continue to find the positives and get better from our mistakes as well.”

Highlands next plays away at 8 p.m. at the Christmas Tournament in Franklin on Dec. 28.
