HPD responded to a report of a dog barking on a porch at 10:55 a.m. on Zermatt Circle in Highlands.

HPD responded to a verbal argument at the Highlands Post Office at 11:50 a.m.

May 1

HPD responded to a two-vehicle accident in front of Fourth Street Market at 9:15 a.m. There were no reported injuries.

HPD responded to a two-vehicle accident in Wright Square at 3:15 p.m. No injuries were reported.

May 2

HPD arrested and charged a 23 year-old male for being drunk and disruptive on Dillard Road at 5 p.m.

HPD responded to a report of larceny at the Highlands Rec Park 6:30 p.m. It was reported that someone had taken a shoe.

May 6

HPD arrested a 31-year-old female of Sapphire for DWI at 12:29 a.m. at NC 106/Dillard Road in Highlands.

May 7

HPD responded to a two-vehicle accident in front of Carolina Cleaners at 1:10 p.m. There were no reported injuries.

HPD responded to a call of a disturbance inside the lobby of Old Edwards Hospitality Group, 200 Main Street, at 7:03 p.m.

May 8

HPD responded to a two-vehicle accident in front of the Farmers Market at 7:10 a.m. There were no reported injuries. One vehicle was towed to the Highlands impound lot due to a lack of insurance.

HPD responded to a two-vehicle accident while traveling east on Highway 64 at 9:48 a.m. It was a rear end and there were no injuries reported.
