The Summer of 2018 has been monumental for The Bascom
On July 20th, we had a wonderful Mountains in Bloom Garden Tour. Over 700 people toured 6 amazing gardens in Highlands. Thank you to the home owners who shared their beautiful gardens, all those who attended our amazing committee, volunteer drivers, and docents. We could not have done it without you!
Just two days later, The Bascom was bursting with over 225 people for our Up, Up and Away Gala. Our amazing committee worked for almost a year and put on a fabulous event. Thanks to all who attended and supported us through sponsorship, tickets, the live and silent auction and paddle raise!
The highlight of the Gala was the announcement made by chair, Mike Campbell, that we had raised funds to retire our legacy debt. This is a testament to the support of the community and the commitment of our wonderful donors.
None of what we do would be possible without the support of our membership. Throughout The Bascom’s history, our members have played a vital role in our continued success. We were so pleased to welcome many new members and reconnect with returning members this summer.
