On October 23, the Rotary Club of Highlands welcomed Sarah Holbrooks, Highlands School new assistant principal to give us a behind the scenes look at the school and the many ways the school impacts the lives of its students.

On October 30, the Rotary Club of Highlands welcomed guest speaker Susan Robert. Susan is an accomplished artist and she gave a passionate and enlightening presentation on art and how important it is. She shared how art can provoke and evoke memory and the critical role that art and artists play in culture and society.
Kim Ingram, Chief Nursing Officer at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton, Ga., was the featured speaker at the meeting of the Rotary Club of Highlands on November 6, 2018. She was introduced by Rotary Club member, Bob Shiff.
Kim discussed the services provided at Mountain Lakes Medical Center including 25 inpatient beds including ICU beds, 24 hour ER, surgical services, full service pharmacy, and laboratory. Various outpatient services are also provided including an infusion center, respiratory therapy, and multiple rehabilitation services.
