Due to snow and ice, the wreath laying ceremony on Saturday, December 15 was cancelled. However, wreaths will be placed between 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16. Please drive into the cemetery, place several wreaths, and then drive on, allowing additional volunteers to place wreaths. There will not be any permanent/long term parking available at the cemetery. Please exercise caution if placing wreaths as the ground will be snow/ice-covered.
We will hold a brief ceremony followed by volunteers laying wreaths on all gravestones of our Veterans at Highlands Cemetery.
