Highlands girls varsity basketball team can’t seal the win over Hayesville

Highlands girls varsity basketball team fought hard on Wednesday at home against Hayesville but did not have enough left in the tank to earn the win with a final of 48-42.

Coming off the loss against Hayesville, Highlands played Swain at home on Friday and won 53-28. Highlands next plays away against Hiwassee Dam at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 29.
