Highlands JV boys basketball team beats Blue Ridge and clinches championship

The Highlands junior varsity boys basketball team defeated Blue Ridge at home on Friday with a final of 48-40. This clinches the regular season championship for Highlands.

The Conference Tournament is next week with times and opponents TBD.

Highlands Ethan Tate and Highlands varsity basketball player Jordan Carrier sprang into action when a young boy bolted onto the court during play. Tate made a lunge and grabbed the rabble rouser and dished him off to Carrier for the quick exit.
