Highlands boys JV basketball team defeats Blue Ridge for LSMC tournament championship

Highlands boys junior varsity basketball team faced off against Blue Ridge in the Little Smoky Mountain Conference tournament finals on Thursday and earned the championship trophy with a final score of 67-47.

Both teams gave it their all in the fast-paced championship game, but errors and missed opportunities got the best of the Bobcats.

The playoff schedule is expected to be released on Sunday (Feb. 24). Stay tuned to Plateau Daily News for updates.
