It was Highlands versus Highlands yesterday at Macon County Boys Basketball Tournament when the Eagles 2 defeated the Eagles with a final of 32-9.
Eagles 2 face the Tarheels at 8 p.m. at Mountain View Intermediate School in Franklin.

The Recreation Department After School Program began on Monday, Aug. 27. The program runs daily from 3:20-5:30 p.m. during the School year.
The Recreation Department is excited to have the three indoor Pickle Ball courts and three outdoor Court open once again. Pickle Ball will be played at the Recreation Department Gym every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. (notice the days and time has changed), everyone is welcome so come out and enjoy a game of Pickle Ball. We also have an outdoor net set up so pick up play can happen any time the tennis court is not being used.

Lap Swim Monday-Friday 6-10 a.m. 6 lanes and Monday –Thursday 3:30-7:00 1-2 lanes (shared Pool) and Saturday 10-11 2 or 3 lanes.
Adult Swim-18 years plus Monday-Friday 11:30-1:30 p.m. no lap lanes and Saturday 10-11 a.m. shared with lap swim. Available Equipment- water weights, adult pool noodles, fins, water jog belt and kickboards.
Public Swim Monday-Thursday 3:20-7:00 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday 1-6 p.m. and Sunday 1-6 p.m.
Water Aerobics 18 years plus Monday-Friday 10:15-11:00 a.m.
