Blue Ridge Early College held their 2019 Prom on Saturday at the Cedar Creek Club in Cashiers. Seniors Fisher Druffel and Tarah Bryson were crowned Prom King and Queen; and juniors Colton Taylor and Savannah Cohea were crowned Prom Prince and Princess.

This was a memorable year in that Bryson was crowned Queen by her sister Kayley, who was last year’s Prom Queen. Last year’s Prom King was Hunter Fowler.
It was an open-aired venue with a steady stream of jams from DJ Josh Paulino-Velazquez. Prom-goers could take a breather from the dance floor and chill on the patio or step up to the plate and rock some cornhole.

BREC Prom-goers kick it up a notch on Saturday at Prom.

DJ sophomore Josh Paulino-Valazquez cranked out a steady stream of jams with a good balance of upbeat-tear it up songs and slowing it down a bit letting couples get cozy on the dance floor.

Guests could take a break from the dance floor and play a couple rounds of Cornhole on the patio at Cedar Creek Club.
