Finishing the year with an impressive 9-1 record, only losing to Highlands 2-1 on the road, Mireles said the Blue Ridge played their hearts out all season.
“This season has been awesome, these kids have started running from day one and have come to practice ready to learn and to compete and that’s all you can ask for,” said Mireles. “Only other thing is that these kids have stuck through it all and have worked and showed that they want to be a part of this school and something that both middle school and high school soccer is building.”
