Highlands downtown Halloween celebration rescheduled for Nov.1

The Highlands Chamber of Commerce All Hallows Eve celebration has been moved to Friday, November 1 instead of Thursday, October 31.

The decision was made by Chamber Executive Director Kaye McHan along with Mayor Patrick Taylor and HPD Chief Bill Harrell because of the weather forecast for Thursday evening and in consideration of the safety of the trick-or-treaters and visitors.

The event will be held downtown Highlands from 6-8 p.m.

The Pumpkin Painting event at the Ugly Dog Pub will be from 5- 6p.m. on Friday and is FREE.

The Adult Costume Contest at The High Dive will be held as originally planned on Thursday, October 31 at 10 p.m.
