The Lady Bobcats varsity basketball team remains undefeated after heftily defeating Andrews on Tuesday at home with a final of 63-29.
Blue Ridge Maddy Potts said they’ve worked hard for their 4-0 record this season.
“Things just came together, we saw the court and got the ball to the open people,” said Potts. “We’re learning how to press and we’re getting better, but we do need to work on free throws.”
Blue Ridge Charlotte Sherrill said they have been waiting for this team for some time.
“We were reading their passes really well and we had great communication,” said Sherrill. “We’ve been waiting for this team for years, it’s the dream team. And this wouldn’t have happened if we didn’t work together.”
Blue Ridge next plays at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 at home against Tamassee-Salem.
