Highlands Varsity Volleyball Coach Katy Postell said players earn a ball in the trophy case when they break records or exceed milestones, such as breaking over 1,000 digs. The trophy case is located in the entryway of the new gym.

“It’s everything she does,” said Postell. “It’s defense, it’s offense, it’s passing, it’s just Kedra. It’s the most kills of anyone as far as our records go back, and it’s definitely the most since I’ve been here.”

Postell added that in the three years she has coached McCall, they may not have always agreed, but they always figured things out and ended up on the same page.

“Every coach she’s ever had would say she is second to none,” said Postell. “She never does anything halfway.”
