Highlands School hosted its first alumni-basketball game in 10 years on Saturday with dozens of former students representing their class by battling it out on the court.

Over 20 Highlands School alumni showed up for Saturday’s game with Blue taking on arch rival Gold and that’s when things got real on the court.
Teams Blue and Gold were neck and neck throughout the first three quarters, but then Gold stepped up their game and took the win 55-42.
Highlands Athletic Director Brett Lamb said it’s all to have a good time wants to make it an annual event.
“It’s a great way to keep our alumni as a part of our program and let our current players to see some of the ‘old timers,’” said Lamb. “Big thanks to Booster Club, [Chris] Duffy and all that attended. It really shows Highlander pride.”
Highlands basketball teams next play at 4 p.m. away on Jan. 3 against Murphy.
