Summit Charter High School basketball team played Victory Christian at home on Tuesday and lost 48-22.
Summit Coach Jeremy Robinson said the boys started the game off strong, but didn’t finish the job.
“Defensively, the first quarter was one of our best all year,” he said. “We need to bring that same intensity and focus for all four quarters.”
Summit has one female player on the team, Caroline Woods, who once again hit the court giving it her all.
“I’m glad Caroline joined the team,” said Robinson. “She works hard and I’ve seen her improve a lot throughout the season. She holds her own and is a major contributor to this team.”
He added that Summit will have a high school girls team next year and Woods will bring valuable experience.
“I think the experience she’s gained this year will take her a long way in preparing for next season,” said Robinson.
