Highlands School will honor seniors with a drive thru parade through the circle in front of the building from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19. Academic awards and yearbooks will be handed out at this time.
A parade honoring athletes and Farewell Parades for the rest of Highlands students are scheduled for later this week. Please read the directions below carefully to help traffic flow smoothly.
Directions for parents/seniors on May 19:
-Plan on driving through the front circle of Highlands School. There will be teachers directing traffic as to where to go. There will be no parking allowed.
-Please do not arrive earlier than 5:45 p.m. Teachers need to be able to get into the parking lot and into their assigned spaces.
-Please stay in your car! They will hand you what you need.
-Your families are welcome to come and drive those who can’t drive, or ride with those who can, to enjoy this moment with you.
-Please be patient, as this is new not only to you, but to the School as well.
School staff are excited to have a chance to recognize your child/children and have a chance to say good-bye before their summer begins. Staff are looking forward to celebrating seniors while maintaining the health and safety of all involved.
Remember that the Tuesday, May 19 Parade is for seniors only.

Wednesday, May 20, starting at 4 p.m. Please check below for your child’s parade time.
Highlands School will recognize their students for their outstanding work this school year. This will give students an opportunity to pick up their yearbooks if they have purchased one, and will give our teachers a chance to say good-bye for the school year.
Teachers are excited to be part of a Farewell Parade for each grade level. See below to know when your child’s teacher(s) will be at the Farewell Parade, which will take place in the front loop of the school:
K-5th 4-5 p.m.
6th-8th 5-6 p.m.
9th-11th 7-8 p.m.
