International Friendship Center welcomes new Executive Director

The International Friendship Center in Highlands welcomes their new Executive Director Taylor Matthew Ashley.

Ashley received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and his MBA from the University of Central Florida, Orlando. He has served in the Peace Corps and AmeriCorps. 

Most recently, he worked with the Bodwell Center for Service and Volunteerism at the University of Maine. 

A native of Naples, Fla., Ashley is Cuban American, fluent in English and Spanish and has traveled extensively throughout the Americas and the world.  

Ashley has joined the IFC in their mission to respectfully offer compassion, information and education to our underserved and immigrant communities as well as fostering harmony and facilitating access to human services through our advocacy programs, including the Highlands Food Pantry. 

As Executive Director, Ashley will be working with Andrea Smith, Director of Services & Administration, and Marty Rosenfield, Director of the Highlands Food Pantry.
