Highlands Food Pantry hires new director

Bonnie Dayton was recently hired as the Highlands Food Pantry’s new Director.

“I love helping people, and am a people person,” said Dayton. “Organization and neatness are strengths of mine and I feel it is important that the Pantry is a place that is welcoming and clean to those who come here to shop. Keeping it nice and making it a pleasant experience for clients is very important to me.”

“The mission of the Food Pantry is to make sure no one in the community goes hungry or suffers food insecurity,” said Dayton. “The pantry partners with other agencies to acquire and distribute food to those in need.”
