Hudson Library, in partnership with VAYA Health, is hosting an educational series on adult mental health, held on a Tuesday of each month from September through December. This series is aimed particularly at older adults and will focus on mental health issues of particular interest to them.
The Nov. 2 program is titled Dementia & Psychosis Behavior: What You Need to Know and begins at 2 p.m.
This program uses examples and activities to identify frequent challenging behaviors associated with dementia and psychosis. Participants learn about factors that may trigger behaviors and discuss prevention and intervention strategies.
