Adult mental health series continues at Hudson Library

Hudson Library, in partnership with VAYA Health, is hosting an educational series on adult mental health, held on a Tuesday of each month from September through December. This series is aimed particularly at older adults and will focus on mental health issues of particular interest to them.

The Nov. 2 program is titled Dementia & Psychosis Behavior: What You Need to Know and begins at 2 p.m.

This program uses examples and activities to identify frequent challenging behaviors associated with dementia and psychosis. Participants learn about factors that may trigger behaviors and discuss prevention and intervention strategies.

Reservations are required for this free event, and masks will be required. Register online HERE and click on the desired class or call the library at 828.526.3031.
