As we dive headfirst into a busy holiday season, The Village Green is kicking it off with an alternative to our traditional Goblins on the Green Halloween experience.
This year, to keep our children and community safe, The Village Green will hold a Drive Through Trunk or Treat from 5-6:30 p.m. on Oct. 30. at The Village Green Commons Parking lot off of Frank Allen Road.
There will be more than 10 community organizations and businesses participating. Each of their “trunks” will be decorated in a fun, spook-tacular Halloween theme!
And of course, they will be passing out tasty treats, and joining in on the family fun for all those in our community.
So, drive on down to The Village Green on Saturday Oct. 30 for a safe twist on our traditional trick-or-treat experience!
Please contact The Village Green office at 828.743.3434 or email director@cashiersgreen.com with any questions about the Drive Through Trunk or Treat at The Green.
Aside from Trunk or Treat at The Green, there also scheduled is Gobble on The Green, which is a 5K Run/Walk turkey-trot and a Thanksgiving tradition in Cashiers.
The 5k run/walk follows through the heart of Cashiers and around Cashiers Lake. Remember, “You’ve gotta Gobble, before you Wobble”.
The Village Green is happy to announce the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony scheduled for Nov. 26 from 5-6 p.m. and includes visits with Santa, and the Mistletoe Market.
