Highlands girls varsity basketball team hosted Town’s County to kick off the season and took the win 52-27 on Nov. 19.

Highlands Coach Brett Lamb said defense and unselfish passing was key.
“I thought we came out playing really well on defense that turned into some easy baskets,” said Lamb.

He added that Highlands is off to a good start but need to polish up some things and get in better shape.
“A big shout out to the team in general, we rebounded extremely well,” said Lamb. “And Beatrice Bryson gave us some really good minutes coming off an ankle injury.”
