I still have hope our nation will continue to embrace the ideals expressed in America the Beautiful.
Let’s start by keeping Highlands beautiful and embracing the spirit of brother and sisterhood.
Happy 4th of July!
- Town of Highlands Mayor Pat Taylor
We, too, visited the Rec Center recycle bin laat Monday about 9am and were shocked. How can so many people be so careless and lazy? It shouldn’t be up to the Town to clean up. We are already granted yet another drop off point for our recycling, so why can’t folks just do their part? For heaven sakes, break down those cardboard boxes, make sure it is tossed IN the bins and take any garbage to the designated dumpsites FOR GARBAGE!!
Let’s all work together for our beloved mountain town.
