At the Dec. 12 meeting, the Rotary Club of Highlands had the pleasure of hearing from the Executive Director of Blue Ridge Free Dental Clinic, Melanie Jones.
Rotarian Jerry Moore was host. Jones spoke of the clinics amazing statistics over the past year. BRFD services 5 counties in Western North Carolina. Reaching over 700 patients with 6000 procedures completed.
These services are provided by 1 full-time dentist on staff and 20 volunteer dentists pitching in.
Jones was also presented a charitable donation from the club for the BRFDC.
