Town crews have finished painting the street lines and crosswalks in Highlands said Public Works Director Lamar Nix. Work began back in April but poor weather and a shortage of paint caused some minor delays
“We needed hot and dry weather,” said Nix. “Especially for the crosswalks, they take longer to dry.”
Each year town crews repaint the street lines and crosswalks and nix said it takes approximately two weeks to complete the job from start to finish.
