The Rotary Club of Highlands Mountaintop have placed giving trees at Mountain Fresh Grocery and Bryson’s Grocery.
The trees are a reminder that patrons can add a donation to their purchases at checkout and a gift card for that amount will be given to either the Food Pantry at the Methodist Church or to the Highlands Emergency Council. The cards will be given to needy families to make their Christmas merrier. Any amount is welcome, but a donation of $20 is suggested.
