Highlands girls varsity basketball team wins against East Henderson

The Lady Highlanders came out working together as a team and beat East Henderson 57-49 on Monday. Highlands Head Coach Jake Page said it was a team effort all around, but it should be noted that Highlands Jordan Carrier and Kedra McCall were a big part of that win scoring 31 points and 15 points respectively.

“They played really well,” said Page. “We moved the ball, we were patient and waited for the right shots, we played good team ball. Everyone from top to bottom stepped up and played their role, I’m very proud of them.”

Highlands next plays away at 6:30 p.m. at the Christmas Tournament in Franklin on Dec. 28.
