The Blue Ridge Middle School soccer team took a minute to find their groove, and then ran away with it winning against Fairview 6-1 on Monday at home.
“They played really good yesterday, they started off slow but then they came alive and showed up to play,” said Coach Cristian Mireles.
It’sno surprise the Bobcats held Fairview to 1 goal.
“The best thing they did was play defense our defense if really good and when you have good defense it sets the tempo for the offense,” said Mireles.
Blue Ridge next plays at 4 p.m. on Sept. 12 away against Cullowhee.
