HPD Officer Tim Fish retires after 30 years

Highlands Police Officer Tim Fish was honored with a retirement party after last week’s Town Board meeting.

He spent 30 years as a law enforcement officer working in Highlands, Franklin, and Macon County.

Pictured at the top of the article with Officer Fish is HPD Chief Bill Harrell (middle) his last boss, and his first boss previous Sheriff Homer Holbrook (right).

Endearing stories were told by friends, family and co-workers. Fish ended by telling his comrades to “stay safe.” He will finish his 30 years of service Halloween night on Main Street. If you see him, wish him a fond farewell.
