Highlands varsity soccer team took on Blue Ridge Early College at home on Thursday and after establishing a 1-point lead in the first half, managed to pull off a close win ending 3-2.

“They were amped up and gave it their all the entire 80 minutes,” said Brown. “We had excellent intensity and I commend each and every player on the field, they really wanted it and it shows in the score.”

“We played well, this happens,” said Pressler. “The kids played their hearts out and they shouldn’t be ashamed at all. We played our soccer the way it’s supposed to be played and again, it happens.”
