Highlands junior varsity girls volleyball team hosted Franklin on Monday and while never giving up, couldn’t take the win losing 2-0.

“We played a really good team,” said Stiehler. “And we played well together, but there’s always things to improve and work on.”

Communication mishaps plagued the Lady Highlanders throughout both sets and Highlands Karmen Jenkins said that hurt them.
“We played well,” said Jenkins. “We hung on and never gave up, but our communication was awful. And they were hitting the ball in certain places that we just couldn’t get to. But we worked hard and we tried our best.”
