Summit boys basketball team hosted Victory Christian last week and lost heftily, 61-20. But Summit Coach Jeremy Robinson said the boys stayed positive and never gave up.
“I love this team,” he said. “Being so young and playing without key players, our guys won’t quit. We talk about competing against yourself to always give 100%, learn from your mistakes and improve every time you play.”
Robinson said they played Victory earlier this season and the Bears are showing improvement.
“The last time we played them, they killed us inside getting easy baskets,” he said. “We packed it in a bit and made them shoot from outside. Have to give them credit, they shot the ball well, had some really nice guard play.”
