What: The Cashiers Village Crawl is centered around The Village Green. There is live music at both ends of the park, at the Gazebo and Commons areas. Participating shops surrounding The Village Green, or “Featured Stops,” will be denoted by colorful Village Crawl signage making it easy for participants to find their way along the Cashiers Greenway Ramble.

Participating shops will have the Cashiers Village Crawl sign in the window marking it as a featured stop.
When: Tonight 5-8 p.m.
Where: The Village Green and surrounding shops along the Cashiers Greenway Ramble. Participating shops are staying open until 7 p.m. and will have colorful signage denoting they are “Featured Stops” along the Ramble.

- It should be noted that the Commons area is currently full of vendors and is not available for visitors to claim a patch of grass and set up shop to watch the music.

Food: Initial plans included food trucks, but that fell through and just wasn’t possible. However, restaurants along the Ramble route, including Whiteside Brewery, Slabtown Pizza, and Chile Loco, will be open and ready to rock your order.

Participating shop locations are strewn throughout the Cashiers Greenway Ramble centered around The Village Green.
This first Cashiers Village Crawl is a combination music festival, shopping event and wine tasting, with an invitation to explore Cashier’s finest retail shops and restaurants.
This brand-new event is sponsored by the Cashiers Area Chamber Retail Roundtable and the Village Green. It will take place from 5-8 p.m. today centered around The Village Green at participating shops in the Village core along the Cashiers Greenway Ramble.
“Featured Stops” along the Crawl will include live music, a wine tasting by the Highlands Wine Shoppe, and pop-up boutique shops.
Surrounding the Village Green campus, participating Cashiers Area Chamber member shops will stay open until 7 p.m. and offer garden-themed in-store specials, to coincide with the Joy Garden Tour, which begins the same evening at the Village Green.
For those looking for a bite to eat, restaurants along the Ramble route, including Whiteside Brewery, Slabtown Pizza, and Chile Loco, will be open and ready to take your order.
Live music will be a highlight of the evening with performances by favorite local bands on two stages in the Village Green. At the Village Commons stage will be Nitrograss, offering a playful and unique interpretation of traditional Appalachian Bluegrass. At the Gazebo near the Cashiers Crossroads the crowd will enjoy the soulful, melodic strains of Spalding McIntosh and the Lionhearts.
