HFW to require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test to attend

Documentation of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result will be required to attend the Highlands Food & Wine Festival scheduled for Nov. 11-14.

For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) prior to attendance at any Highlands Food & Wine Festival event.

“The health and safety of our patrons, staff and vendors remains our top priorities,” said Highlands Food & Wine Festival Director Casey Reid. “We will continue to monitor best practices and guidelines established by state and local health authorities in order to be able to safely bring the community together for our 5th Annual Highlands Food & Wine Festival.”

Highlands Food & Wine is continuing to monitor best practices and guidelines established by state and local health authorities. These policies are subject to change, in accordance with state and local guidelines and changing circumstances.

Procedures will be updated as necessary as we get closer to the Festival event dates. For the most up-to-date information check the Highlands Food & Wine website HERE and follow HFW on social media.

As a reminder, the last date a person could receive a second dose of the two-shot vaccines or receive the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine and still be considered “fully vaccinated” and eligible to attend without needing negative test results would be Oct. 28, 2021.
