Blue Ridge Health-Highlands Cashiers recently announced the unique “Angel Tree” project this holiday season.
BRH-HC is asking for donations of new pajamas for foster children and children in need throughout Highlands, Cashiers, and surrounding communities.
There is a special “Angel Tree” in the waiting room of BRH-HC. Visitors and patients can select a tag from the tree with an age range and return their pajama gift (unwrapped) by Dec. 20.
Age ranges are 0-5, 6-13, 13-17, and 17-21.
“New pajamas can be expensive, and our staff is very excited to make sure that every child will be warm and cozy this winter,” said Drs. Ann Davis, one of the primary care physicians at the health center along with Dr. Kristy Fincher. “We invite everyone to help us reach our goal of 200 pajama sets, as we aim to bring holiday cheer to local kids.”
The angel tree is available during BRH-HC office hours: 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday, Jane Woodruff Clinic, 209 Hospital Drive suite #204, Highlands, NC.
