Highlands boys junior varsity basketball team beat Hiwassee Dam on Wednesday with a final score of 52-34. Highlands Assistant Coach Ryan Gearhart said they played well by moving the ball around and stepping up the intensity on defense.
Their next game is tonight at 5 p.m. in Highlands against East Henderson.
