Highlands girls varsity basketball team once again hit the court in Franklin for the second day of the High School Holiday Tournament on Dec. 29, this time facing up against Smoky Mountain. It was a severe lashing by the Mustangs with a final of 63-27. Fun fact, during high school play when the spread on the board is over 40 points the game clock continues to run regardless of what’s happening on the court, which happened at a couple of points throughout the game on Saturday.
